Ron from Marske Cleveland He was a loving husband to Chris much loved dad of Lee and Karen loving grandad to Hannah and Eve much loved son of Ron senior and the late Lil. beloved brother of Linda and Dave and Brother in law of Derek and Paula and special uncle to Kerry Daniel Dean Steven and Simone.
Ron was taken tragically from us all on New Years day 2008.People will remember him from the press articals as the man who went looking for his dog. Like Gary Newlove he was attacked by mindless youths. That attack took him away from us and ripped us all apart.He was a very special person with a winning smile and a big heart who helped others whenever he could wouldnt do anyone a bad turn always there for anyone who needed it with helpful advice and guidance.He was passionate about his native Teeside often saying its beauty spots were very underated and calling it our little secret that not many people outside the area knew or understood.One of his other passions was Middlesbrough football club whom he followed ardently across Europe.Nobody could say a bad word about them in his company but his biggest passion was for his family to whom his love and loyalty was unsurpassed which is why we all loved him and miss him so much .A light in our lives was extinguished that day he left. Things will never be the same for us again HE SHOULD STILL BE HERE. What right do these thugs think thay have to destroy a whole family.Ron was very special and If you are watching over us Ron be assured you are too dearly loved to ever be forgotton. R.I.P.Ron and Goodnight Godbless....Safe now in his mothers arms.xxx.

STOP ALL THE CLOCKS

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum,
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message Ron is Dead,
Put red crepe bows around the necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policeman wear black cotton gloves.
He was our North, our South, our East and West,
Our working week and our Sunday rest,
Our noon, our midnight, our talk, our song;
We thought that you would last forever Ron...... we were wrong.
The stars are not wanted now; put out every one:
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods:
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
